Information we collect
When you submit the project form we receive your first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, optional company name, and the project description you write. A hidden honeypot field and a short completion timer exist only so automated spam can be ignored without storing a useful record.
Career applications collect your name, email, phone, the role you are applying for, and any resume or notes you attach or paste. Those messages go to our careers inbox so we can evaluate the application.
Our email and hosting providers may see an IP address, user agent, and timestamps when a form is submitted or a page is requested. The marketing site also loads Google Ads tagging (AW-18130458822), which may store cookies or similar identifiers to measure advertising and conversions.
How we use information
We use inquiry data to reply, ask clarifying questions, and scope software, website, or cloud work. When a project lead is accepted we may create a Stripe customer record so invoicing can start later. Application data is used only to evaluate candidates and communicate about roles.
We do not create customer login accounts on this website. We do not sell personal information or rent inquiry lists to marketers.
Sharing, retention, and your choices
We share data with the processors needed to run the site: SMTP email delivery, AWS Amplify and CloudFront hosting, and Stripe when a customer record is created. We keep inquiry and application records as long as needed to respond and to meet tax or legal duties, then delete or archive them.
You can email hello@steelcitytech.us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion. Browser and device controls can limit advertising cookies. Do not send sensitive government or health records through the public forms.
